Every great story needs more than what happens in front of the lens. From directing and cinematography to editing, sound and production, screen production brings every piece together.

At APAC, you’ll learn by creating, collaborating and getting hands-on with the filmmaking process.

🎬 Create the story. Shape the vision.

We’re excited to share this feature highlighting OUTSET, our ambitious screen production filmed at the Film Sunshine Coast Backlot in Woombye.

The project brings together APAC students, local actors and an experienced Sunshine Coast crew, including Mirko Grillini, Beverley Marcusson, Amanda Grillini, The Art of Makeup Society and the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective.

Thank you to Eileen Walder and Eumundi Voice for sharing the story behind the production and highlighting the growing screen industry on the Sunshine Coast.

From a student’s creative vision to the final poster.

Our original Starry Night artwork was created by APAC student Cara Joy Stritthof, whose beautiful interpretation of the story inspired the visual direction for the official production poster.

We loved her take on the world of Starry Night so much that it became part of the journey towards the final design. 🎭🌙

A lovely reminder of the creativity that exists within our APAC community.

Talent gets you noticed. Technique takes you further. 🎭

At APAC, acting is about more than stepping into a role. It's about developing your technique, finding your voice and learning how to connect with a story and an audience.

Through practical training, performance and hands-on experience, students have the opportunity to grow their craft and confidence as actors.

A huge congratulations to our incredible cast, crew, and everyone who brought Adam Szymkowicz's Starry Night to life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at PIP Theatre and supported our students. Your encouragement means so much as they continue to grow as performers and storytellers.

Here's to another unforgettable APAC production. ✨
