LIKE if you don't want your Student Union to fund the NUS' strange junkets to Canberra.
The ASA is calling on Education Minister Simon Birmingham to neutralise the cost of the modest ~$180 a year increase to university degrees by axing the SSAF. The SSAF currently costs students $1,200 over the course of a four year degree. Axing it would mean that students will save almost twice the cost of the proposed increase.
The SSAF has been proven to have had a negligible increase in service provision and currently funds the salaries of our revolutionary counterparts at the National Union of Students.
