Join QUT Big Lift as we head to regional Queensland to volunteer at the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and Murphys Creek Chilli Festival! 🎡🌸🌶️

No experience needed, just bring your energy and sense of adventure!

Spend the weekend volunteering alongside locals and fellow students while enjoying the lively atmosphere of floral displays, floral/paw parade, chilli themed products and community festivities. It’s a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity to be part of one of regional Queensland’s most cherished events and support our regional communities. 🎶🔥🕺

💰 Cost:
Member tickets: $65
Non-member tickets: $75
Friend Bundle: $100 (2 tickets maximum - $50 each)

📍 Where:
Toowomba & Murphys Creek Grounds, QLD

🚌 Arrival:
Arrive 3pm, Friday, 18th September at QUT Gardens Point Campus (Outside Parliament House) for transport to Toowoomba

🌟 For two big days, the Redland Showgrounds comes alive with live music, dazzling performers, local artists, dancers, singers, market stalls, sideshow fun, family entertainment, and plenty of surprises around every corner! 🎆🎸🕺

REDFEST is a non-profit, community-led festival — and they rely on amazing volunteers to help bring it to life! ❤️

🎟️ Volunteer registrations are now open, with registrations closing soon on 15th August. Register through both the Big Lift Rubric AND the RedFest Volunteer Form by the 15th. Both links are available via our link in bio!

🚨Local volunteering opportunity available‼️

You can volunteer at the Brisbane Lions Game with 50 - 50 Charity raffle. The 50-50 Charity Raffle is a not-for-profit fundraising raffle that raises funds for a range of charities, good causes and significant projects. ☀️

Your role as a volunteer is to sell tickets to raise funds for charity and you'll also gain experience, learn new skills, meet new people, and be helping to make a real difference in your community. 🎟️
