With the new school year well on the way I just wanted to let everyone know that at Beach Shack Student Development we have a new batch of 2024 BBC graduates offering their tutoring services. They are joining our team of over 20 tutors who graduated between 2020 and 2024 from BBC and other schools, 12 of whom achieved an ATAR above 99.

I’m 2022 BBC graduate Joe Gilroy and I’m happy to announce I will be joining 2018 old boys Jack Gallagher and Jake Clough in the running of it.
With the new year we’ve got new tutors but with the same quality service. Beach Shack Student Development (BSSD) is ready to match your child with a tutor from a collection of the best scholars from the 2022 graduating cohort of Brisbane Boys’ College for tutelage and mentorship to ensure their success in 2023. The 2023 school year is well underway and with the first set of exams soon approaching BSSD is once again here to assist your child in their scholastic endeavours. For many, school is an adventure best navigated with the mentorship and tutelage of those that came before who can ensure you are taking the right path and achieving your goals.
With another cohort of gentleman graduating from the College in 2022, BSSD is proud to introduce to its line up an exciting and talented array of scholars. Having all graduated from BBC, this team of tutors has the advantage of sharing in the same experiences and learning environment as your son and being able to leverage this knowledge to create a deeper connection with and provide more tailored instruction to students.
The new additions to the team are all accredited with an ATAR of 94 or above and include the likes of:
• Dylan Smyth, who achieved an ATAR of 99.75 and is studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science majoring in mathematics at UQ.
• Elliot Bailey, who also achieved an ATAR of 99.75 and is studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Computer Science at UQ.
• Yadav Naicker, who achieved an ATAR of 99.50 and is studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Bond University.
BSSD offers a wide variety of subject specific tutelage as well as broader mentorship and organisational and study skills. Every BSSD tutor holds a blue card and is equipped to offer face to face and online sessions to ensure flexibility.
