Charles Darwin University Environmental Studies CDU TAFE Environmental studies deliver training in horticulture, aquaculture and conservation.

Our team has a strong focus on sustainable technologies and practices and was the winner of the Chairman's Award at the 2011 Melaleuca Environmental Excellence Awards. We are also responsible for the delivery of specialised industry programs and short courses, including:

As we informed you all before we are having the Bush Block walk on 29th Oct 2023 at 8.20am.

Date: Sunday 29th of October
Time: 8:30-9:30 (Bush block walk)
Venue: CDU Bushland - Meet at yellow 2 (Bush block walk)

The purpose of this event is to Educate CDU students & wider community about native plants in north Australian savannas and monsoon forest.

Dr. David Liddle, Dr. Penny Wurm will be our collaborators.

Come along to Enviro Collective’s Native Plant walk and talk as we explore the remnant vegetation in the bush block at the Charles Darwin University Casuarina campus, which sits between the Casuarina Coastal Reserve and the main campus. Meeting at Yellow 2 at 8:20 am on the 29th of October we will be guided around the bush block by some very knowledgeable guides, learning to identify some common plants found in north Australian savannas and monsoon forests.
