🌧️🏐 Rain, Shine, or Torrential Downpour – Our Girls Bring the Game! 🏐🌧️
What an incredible day at the Vicki Wilson Netball Competition last week! Despite the skies opening up and the rain pouring down, our girls showed resilience, teamwork, and unwavering spirit on the court.
From slick passes to determined defence, they gave it their all and made us so proud. The weather may have been wild, but it didn’t dampen their enthusiasm or sportsmanship.
A huge shoutout to our amazing players, dedicated coaches, and supportive families who braved the elements to cheer us on. You’re all champions in our eyes!🏅
Here’s to more unforgettable moments and a season full of heart and hustle. Go team! 💙

Today we took part in the World's Greatest Shave!
Our amazing students stepped up in raising awareness and funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Students showed amazing courage by shaving or colouring their hair, while others kept the crowd entertained throughout the event! 🎤🎶
And in a highlight of the day… students raised enough to see Mr Quant and Mr Lumsden have their hair and beards coloured! 🤩
We’re so proud of our community for making a difference!

Week 10 is our Winter School program for students in Years 10 to 12 who have been identified as having incomplete Semester 1 work such as VET qualifications, literacy and numeracy requirements or non-submission due to approved absences.
Winter School will run as follows:

Year 11: Monday to Friday
Year 12: Monday to Wednesday
Winter School is an intensive block of compulsory, timetabled learning for these students to ensure that they are on track for academic success, and for Year 12 students, this includes their QCE attainment.
Each year level will receive information and timetables via email in the lead up to Week 10, and parents will be notified before Winter School starts of attendance requirements.

Last Wednesday our Senior General Drama students travelled to the Playhouse at QPAC to see Shake & Stir Theatre Co.'s contemporary production of Macbeth.
The performance provided plenty of inspiration ahead of their recontextualisations of Hamlet for IA3.

“Absolutely terrific and perfectly adapted from its source material.”

Machines are getting smarter.
The thing they can't do? Care.
Checking in, standing up, saying something and paying attention - that's human work, your work, and it matters now more than ever.
