Science Week 🧪✨

Things got chemical during one of our science week lunch clubs! 🔬 Our students became scientists as they explored Chemical Science, investigating how materials can change, react and transform.

From bubbling reactions to surprising results, there was plenty of excitement, curiosity and “WOW!” moments along the way! 🧪💥

We’re loving seeing our students think like scientists, ask questions, make predictions and investigate the world around them. 🌱🔍

It all started today with crazy hair and sock day. Our incredible Year 5/6 team ran a photo opportunity as everyone arrived at school this morning.

Get ready for a week of experiments, investigations, discoveries and plenty of WOW moments each day in classrooms and during our upcoming lunch and snack clubs! 🚀🧬

Just over a week ago, we celebrated 100 Days of School! 🎉 What an incredible achievement for our Prep students and their teachers. It involved a fun day of learning and celebration, linking this special milestone to the mathematical concept of place value and the number 100. We are so proud of everything our Prep students have achieved in their first 100 days of school!

Team Green Bee incursion today with bee keeper Tom from coastal.nectar to celebrate Earth Day! 🌎🐝 Fun facts: there are 2000 kind of bees in Australia and a bee flaps it’s wings around 230 every second.
