Our Grade 5/6 students have been learning about various role models in our community.
They had the privilege this Monday to hear from Craig Fry, a detective for Hobart Police. We got to hear about the many careers Craig tried (including the Navy as a helicopter mechanic) as he travelled through life.
We were all very engaged as we listened to his story with many of us leaving inspired with different ideas about how our futures could look.
Afterwards, we got to have a go at being detectives as we searched the school for clues in a scavenger hunt!

That’s a wrap on another season of St Paul’s Strikers! ⚽️

From Kinder all the way through to Year 6, we are so proud of all the students who got involved this season.

There have been plenty of thrills and spills, goals, missed goals, great saves, big celebrations, cold starts and probably a few sore legs along the way! Most importantly though, there has been a whole lot of fun.

It has been fantastic watching the students get out there, have a go, learn new skills, support each other and enjoy being part of the Strikers.

A massive thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers. Without you giving up your time and helping out each week, none of this would be possible. We really do appreciate everything you do for our kids and our club.

And of course, a big thank you to all of our families and supporters for getting the kids to games, cheering from the sidelines and helping make the season such a great one.

Springing into Spring!

Yesterday was a glorious day, we enjoyed getting outside to catch some vitamin d! Bring on more sunny days!

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 5 student, Thea, who represented Tasmania at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat over the weekend!

After being selected to compete at the national level, Thea travelled to Victoria to take on some of the best young cross country runners from across Australia.

What an incredible achievement, Thea! Your hard work, determination and dedication have taken you all the way to the national stage, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Congratulations, Thea — what an experience and what an achievement! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

BOOK WEEK PARADE 2026!

What a day! Our school was absolutely bursting with colour, creativity and some seriously fantastic costumes for our Book Week Parade. From beloved storybook characters to some very clever costume ideas, our students (and staff!) really brought their favourite books to life.

A huge thank you to all of our families for helping create such amazing costumes and for cheering our students on today. The smiles said it all!

We love Book Week at St Paul's, and today's parade was definitely one of the highlights.

BOOK WEEK IS HERE!

YAY! It’s Book Week, and we absolutely LOVE Book Week here at St Paul’s!

There are plenty of exciting things happening across the week as we celebrate the joy, magic and adventure that comes from reading.

📚 Book Swaps – a chance to share the love of reading and discover a new favourite!

🎶 Symphony of Reading – and there’s a VERY exciting prize up for grabs! One lucky family will take home a Village Cinemas Family Pass for 2 adults + 2 children, including popcorn, a drink AND an ice cream for each person! 🍿🥤🍦 YAY!

📚 A trip to the Bridgewater Library for our lucky Prep students!

🎭 And then… THE BOOK PARADE!
This Wednesday is the much-anticipated Book Parade, and we cannot WAIT to see the creativity, imagination and bookish brilliance from our students and staff!

It’s going to be a fantastic week of celebrating stories, authors, characters and, most importantly, the joy of reading.

Let’s get BOOK WEEK started!

Today our school was a sea of wild, wonderful and crazy hair!

Crazy Hair Day was all about coming together as a community to raise awareness and funds for Kahlani as she continues her cancer journey.

Kahlani, we want you to know that we’re here for you, we’re cheering you on, and you’ve got a whole school community behind you!

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful mums, Carly for the beautiful idea that gave us the opportunity to come together, get creative and show our love and support for Kahlani. What a special community we have!
