A few more special moments from our Father’s Day Breakfast!

Our school was filled with conversation, laughter, and plenty of smiles as students shared the morning with their dads and the special men who encourage and support them. It was wonderful to see so many families come together and enjoy this time at Northern.
-
As we celebrate Father’s Day, we are also thankful for the love and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father and the example of love and care He gives us.
-
Thank you again to our wonderful Community Engagement Committee for helping make the morning such a memorable one for our school community.

Today our students wore purple and orange as we recognised National Bullying No Way Week and reinforced our commitment to creating a school community where every child feels safe, valued and included.
-
This connects beautifully with our current whole-school focus on intentional kindness and the difference our everyday words and actions can make.
-
Small acts of kindness, big impacts!
-
Throughout the week students were encouraged to think about how they can show kindness, include others, speak respectfully, stand up for others and seek help when something isn’t right.

Learning looks a little different at Forest School!
-
This term, our Year 1, Year 2, and Year 5 classes are taking part in our Forest School program, giving students the opportunity to step outside the classroom and learn through exploring, discovering, and engaging with God’s amazing creation in the beautiful bushland around Northern.
-
Through hands-on activities and plenty of adventure, students build confidence, resilience, independence, and teamwork while learning new skills and developing an understanding of the natural world around them.
-
Forest School is always a much-loved part of learning at Northern, where a little mud, fresh air, and adventure are all part of the experience!
