Our centre philosophy is deeply embedded in all that we do at Bridgetown Stepping Stones, and we aim to provide a loving and caring atmosphere in which young children can grow into relaxed, well-adjusted people. Our program is play based and highly values the importance of play, along with many opportunities for artistic creation, imagination and lots of fun learning. The children are the heart of the centre. Our mission:
At Bridgetown Stepping Stones we believe that all children have the right to the highest quality care and education to meet their individual needs, interests and the needs of the families in our community. It is our objective to provide a safe and secure environment where children can receive the best possible outcomes for their learning and development, within an environment that they value and have ownership of. We work together with families to create a learning program that responds to children's ideas, interests, strengths and abilities and we recognise that children learn through play. At Bridgetown Stepping Stones we are guided by the National Quality Framework (NQF) which is linked to the approved frameworks Belonging, Being, Becoming: The Early Years Framework for Australia ('Early Years Learning Framework') and the My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Children in Australia ('Framework for School Age Care')
