ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Janet! I love creating supportive, personalised music lessons on drum kit and piano for students from kindy to adulthood. I've been teaching since high school when my younger neighbour used to come over for drum kit lessons. I completed a double degree in Music and Education in 2004 and taught in high schools during my 20s, teaching classroom music, group percussion lessons and leading ensembles. After having kids, I went back to giving private tuition from home, and I absolutely LOVE it. This is the place where I can meet students exactly where they are and help them achieve their goals. I have 10 drum students this term so I invested in some hearing protection...and as a result may have inadvertently started raising my voice at those very same students, haha
