Yesterday, we had a MASSIVEly fun day at Corin Forest with our friends from Quandialla Public School! ❄️⛷️

The students kicked off the day with an exciting 2-hour ski lesson led by some fantastic instructors. After building up an appetite, we enjoyed a well-deserved lunch break before hitting the big slope for even more fun and adventure. Some of our snow stars took to skiing like ducks to water, while others had a few tumbles, face plants, and bum slides—but that didn’t stop the smiles or the laughter!

A big shoutout to Corin Forest for hosting us and making the experience unforgettable.

Can’t wait for our next snowy adventure! ❄️🏂🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped bring our cubbyhouse project to life! 🏡✨

As we continue making plans and bringing our playground project together, we were very excited to welcome the arrival of our new cubbyhouse. This was a significant investment for our school, and we are so grateful for the support we have received along the way.
A big thank you to Bunnings for delivering our cubbyhouse and to Young High School for sharing their amazing construction skills to help build it. The finished result is fantastic!

Of course, the most important judges have already had a trial! It has been wonderful to watch our students' imaginations come alive as they begin creating games, stories and new adventures in their very own cubbyhouse. 💭🌟

And a very special thank you to Bruno — you are amazing, and we are so lucky to have you! Plans changed and challenges arose throughout the project, but Bruno kept his cool and continued working to ensure the cubbyhouse was placed on a small riser, helping to prevent any unwanted creatures from making a home underneath! 🐍

We can't wait to see what imaginative adventures are created next!

Today in Mathematics, we explored the difference between volume and capacity! 📏💧

We discovered that 1 cubic centimetre (1 cm³) = 1 millilitre (1 mL). We tested this by using small cubes and measuring water.

We also learnt about displacement. This is a method we can use to find the volume of an irregular object. We placed objects into water and measured how much the water level changed. The amount of water displaced helped us work out the object's volume!

A great day of hands-on learning, investigating and discovering!

✨ What an incredible day of celebration and connection at Bribbaree Public School! ✨

Yesterday, we were honoured to host five other small schools as we came together to acknowledge NAIDOC Week. We were absolutely delighted to welcome Darren Cooper, who conducted the Welcome to Country and mesmerised us all with his didgeridoo performance.

A big thank you to the students from Young North Public School for joining us with their amazing Aboriginal dance performance and for teaching our students about the rich traditions of Aboriginal dance.

Our students participated in a variety of cultural activities throughout the day, making it a truly memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved. Despite a brief hailstorm, the spirit of the day remained strong, and the joy and learning kept flowing!

Thank you to all families, staff, and community members who helped make this day so special.
