Caroline Chisholm Catholic College is committed to learning excellence and prepares students to be the best they are called to be in a faith-filled and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to excel in all areas of learning, including academic, sport, trade, performing arts and music. Although students achieve excelle
nt academic success with results improving each year, there is also a strong belief at the College that successful education is more than a high ATAR score at the end of the year. The College aims to make sure students are life- and job-ready through a number of programs that encourage independence and hands-on learning. There are 1,500 students at the College and the student body is culturally diverse, representing over 60 nationalities. The College has a strong community focus and offers a number of initiatives to support all families and students, including the Family Schools Partnership Program. Caroline Chisholm Catholic College has three campuses located in Melbourne’s inner-western suburb of Braybrook, as well as an outdoor and environmental education facility in the Brisbane Ranges. The junior campuses are separated by gender from Years 7-9 and the senior co-educational campus from Years 10-12 offers VCE, VET and VCAL. Established in 1997, the College is named after Caroline Chisholm and is inspired by her selfless humanitarian work helping immigrants, the unemployed and women in the 19th century.
