And just like that, we’ve reached the final chapter of Book Week!

Our last day was filled with imagination, colourful characters and plenty of smiles as more beloved stories came to life. The magic even continued into our kitchen all week with thoughtfully created meals inspired by familiar books.

What a wonderful week celebrating stories, creativity and the joy of reading in every part of our day! 💛

Brisbane Kite Festival! 🪁☀️

Debbie and Kayhla had the pleasure of joining a few of our fellow Gardenia Directors to proudly represent the wider Gardenia Early Learning community for a beautiful day filled with connection, creativity and play.

It was wonderful meeting so many families and watching little hands explore construction experiences, small-world play and clay creations. We loved coming together as one Gardenia team to share the joy, wonder and meaningful learning that happens through play.

A truly special day filled with smiles, conversations and community spirit! 💚

Our outdoor reading space brings stories, nature and connection together. As children gather closely, each page invites wonder, imagination and meaningful conversation. Nurturing early literacy and a lifelong love of books. 💛

Our Kindy children were excited to welcome Astra, a teacher from Bray Park State High School and a valued former Gardenia parent.

Astra guided the children through an engaging strawberry DNA extraction experiment, inviting them to take an active role in each stage of the process. As they squashed, mixed and filtered the ingredients, the children investigated cause and effect, shared their ideas and predictions, asked thoughtful questions and closely observed the changes taking place.

It was incredibly special to reconnect with Astra and welcome her back to inspire our next generation of learners. Thank you, Astra, for sharing your time, knowledge and passion for science with our Kindy children! 🍓🔬✨
