We extend our profound appreciation to all who supported the seafood raffle and Hotel Pioneer for helping us fund raise. Each contribution brings us closer to our goal of empowering Brandon School students for camps and excursions, and we gratefully acknowledge the funds raised for this commendable cause.

Last day of camp. We are on the way home!
Breakfast of cereal, toast and home made pastries.
A walk into the rainforest to listen for the birds,water and wind. Very peaceful. We then reflected on the camp. Packed the bus and now we are on the way home.

Day 2of camp with Giru School at Paluma Education Centre.
Today we had a yummy breakfast of cereal, bacon, eggs and hash browns. Off to archery tag, orange and yellow team both won!
Morning tea of scones,jam and cream plus fruit. Traditional indigenous and environmental games with Dan.
Lunch of hot dogs and fruit. After lunch we did high ropes. Some of us did the climbing wall, high ropes, and leap of faith and then we all did the swing. They were all scary.
Back for afternoon tea of chocolate brownies and fruit we had some fun playing games and getting to know each other.
For dinner tonight we had pasta and fruit crumb with custard. We are watching a movie and then off to bed ready for a big day home tomorrow.

Day 1 camp for year 5&6
Walk in the rainforest. Made a masterpiece using leaves. Built a tent with poles, string and a tarp but the rain came from Mr Dan. Showers and free time. Had a night walk on the other side of road to the rainforest to see the glowing algae. Then bedtime.
