🌈💜 Wear It Purple Day – This Friday! 💜🌈

Everyone is invited to show their support by wearing purple to school on Friday! For those not wearing purple, please come in your normal school uniform.

To celebrate, we have some fantastic activities and treats planned for our Year 7–12 students at lunchtime in the muster area:

✨ Say hello to Trinity and Riya from Headspace Queanbeyan and try your hand at rock painting.
✨ Join Sue and Kirsten from Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council for badge making fun!
✨ Tim from Directions Health Service Goulburn will be here with free merchandise giveaways.
✨ Enjoy delicious purple cupcakes from BCS, plus purple nail painting and hair colouring stations!

Students are encouraged to come along, join the fun, and celebrate inclusivity together. We can’t wait to see you there! 💜🎉

Where it Began: Wear It Purple was founded in 2010 after a series of tragic stories highlighted the devastating impact that bullying, discrimination and exclusion were having on LGBTQIA+SB young people.
In response, young people and allies came together with one shared belief: every young person deserves to feel safe, supported and proud of who they are.

On Friday 28th August, staff and students are invited to 'wear it purple' because every young person deserves to feel safe, celebrated and empowered at school, at home, at work and in their community.
