2025! What a year!

My resolution for 2025 was to get myself back into music properly. With 11 groups played with, a music studio built and established, and being involved in writing music, recording professionally for not just me but for others, learning vocals, and maintaining my own YouTube uploading I can safely say I did what I set out to!

I want to take the time to say thank you to every incredible musician I got to work with this year, both off and on stage it's been a pleasure every step of the way.
I'm looking forward to working with all of you again soon!!

To anyone who has used my space , thank you for helping me get this off the ground!
This studio originally started just so I could have a space to practice and so I could teach somewhere that wasn't my home. It has been a dream I didn't know I wanted realised, and I can't wait for what's to come in 2026!

Thank you to everyone who made 2025 such a phenomenal year, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2026!

They call us Broken Horses!

I am beyond privileged to get to share the stage with as many musicians as I do- but nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than sitting in a room with these 3 incredible musicians and outstanding people!

To all my fellow members of - thank you for being a phenomenal group of people. It is no understatement to say my favourite moments as a musician to date have involved you three.
I'm looking forward to many more amazing stage moments and even more immature jokes in rehearsal.

Thank you to for giving us a shot at the big city!
Thank you to for all your love and support, your kindness is incredible and we're truly lucky to have you in our corner.

And Thank you Fremantle for giving us an amazing weekend, we WILL be back! Mark my words!

I think in life we often write off things before giving them a fair chance, and tonight gave me a fun wake up call in that regard.

The past few weeks I've been doing recordings for some drum covers to go up on my YouTube channel, for the most part not being really being satisfied with the what I had just played. I'd finish recording, think "ah that was ok... I think I'll re-record those songs tomorrow/next week and go with that instead."

And I didn't even bother to listen to the recordings.

Fast forward to tonight, as I'm having a mini meltdown because my last recording (which I thought was great) ended up sounding like a trainwreck- the playing was ok, but mics were peaking because I didn't check levels, the cymbals sounded horrible because I forgot to switch phantom power on, everything production-wise that could've gone wrong, did.

So in a desperate attempt to pull a video together for this Friday, I grit my teeth and decided to listen through my "B-Roll" recordings I had done over the last few weeks.
To my surprise, they weren't B-Roll. They were actually... good?

Now here I am, cutting together three videos that I would have never had if I wasn't forced to go back and look at what I had previously written off as 2nd rate work.

Next time you create something, do something, or think something and doubt yourself on it- stop. Take a second, and give whatever just came up a fair shot - it might actually just be some good quality work you almost threw away.

All the best everyone- have a good night!

Coolgardi Rodeo was dusty, but good fun!

Thanks to for letting me tag along and share the stage with you, it was a great night!

For those of you wondering, the first photo was taken moments before I suffered great injury from my own drumstick, but I lived to tell the tale.
