🎉 100 Days of School! 🎉

What a wonderful day for our Year 1/2 students! 💯

Our students had a fantastic time celebrating 100 Days of School while discovering all the creative ways we can make 100. From dressing up as fabulous centenarians 👵👴 to wearing 100 hearts ❤️, 100 pompoms, 100 flowers 🌸 and more, there was plenty of creativity on display!

It was a day filled with fun, imagination, learning and lots of smiles as our students celebrated this special achievement together. 🌟

What a fantastic 100 days it has been! 💯📚✨

Today, St Mary’s joyfully commemorates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Our Catholic tradition teaches us that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was taken body and soul into heaven as a reward for her faithfulness. Her life and devotion should be an example for us.

Mary shows us that believing in God is a matter of complete faith and complete trust in God. We too are called to be faithful and trusting like Mary.

Let us pray today that, like Mary, we may open our hearts, our minds, and our lives to the greatness of God, who can work in us.

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.

📚✨ Getting Ready for Book Week! ✨📚

We were delighted to welcome the incredibly talented author and illustrator Gabriel Evans to our school in the lead-up to Book Week!

Gabriel, who has written and illustrated much-loved books including The Little Bird That Fell, Winston’s Special Day and A Friend for George, captivated our students with engaging storytelling and gave them the opportunity to unleash their own creativity through character illustration. 🎨📖

It was wonderful to see our students so engaged, imaginative and inspired as they explored the magic of storytelling and illustration.

A huge thank you to Gabriel for sharing your creativity and passion with us. What a fantastic way to build excitement for Book Week! 🌟📚

Public Speaking at St Mary's.

Congratulations to all of our students for your fantastic presentations.

We heard so many interesting topics and enjoyed an incredible range of creative, engaging and inspiring performances.

Whether you were presenting in class, competing in our St Mary’s Public Speaking Finals, or proudly representing our school at TREE Talks, we are incredibly proud of the bravery, confidence and determination you have shown.

It takes courage to stand in front of an audience and share your ideas, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Well done, everyone! Your voices, ideas and confidence continue to inspire us.

We were proud to have our Year 6 Student Leaders accept this generous donation on behalf of our school community. Partnerships like these make a real difference to our students, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support.

This week we've had the pleasure to welcome Mick and his friendly smile back to St Mary's Primary School Boyup Brook as he dropped in to present the Boyup Brook Lions Club's generous donation towards our 2026 Community Auction Night.

The Lions Club has been a wonderful supporter of our school over the years, and we're incredibly grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to our community. Partnerships like these help make our Auction Night such a success and ultimately benefit all of our students.

🌞💦🌿 Our Pre-Primary adventurers enjoyed another wonderful excursion to the bush yesterday! They took little Cubetto for his final outing to the bush where he enjoyed a swim in the puddle and a picnic near our mia-mia. The students also enjoyed the wonderful puddle in the glorious sunshine. It was an afternoon full of squelchy fun and resilience building. 🌞💦🌿
