121 Driver Training is a TfNSW (formerly RMS/RTA) and ASQA approved Registered Training Organisation and is able to issue nationally recognised Driving Instructor Certificate IV training.

The Driving Instructors Regulation 2026 introduces changes every instructor and driving school needs to know:

โœ… Lesson and vehicle-hire records must be completed on the same day the service is provided
โœ… Information on how to report alleged instructor misconduct must be clearly displayed
โœ… Records must be accurate, up to date and readily available if concerns are raised
โœ… Stronger professional accountability, with outdated provisions and unused fees removed

The Labour Day long weekend is here, and NSW Police are reminding drivers to put safety first.

From ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ ๐Ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐จ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ“ ๐Ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž, double demerit points apply across NSW for certain offences during Operation Labour Day. โš ๏ธ Speak up. Report misconduct. ๐Ÿš—

There's a new NSW requirement: every licensed driving instructor must now display a misconduct reporting sign in their vehicle, so learners know how to report misconduct to Transport for NSW.

๐Ÿ“ž To report misconduct by a driving instructor, call Transport for NSW on 131 500.
We welcome this change. Clear, visible information helps keep learners safe, and every lesson should be respectful and professional.

In Victoria, drivers must safely slow to 40 km/h when passing emergency, enforcement, towing, roadside-assistance or incident-response vehicles that are stationary or travelling below 10 km/h with flashing lights or an alarm operating.

Check your mirrors, reduce your speed gradually and remain at 40 km/h until you are safely clear of the entire scene. A few moments of patience can help protect the people working to keep our roads safe.
