Our Silver Linings of the Frontline 👩⚕️
When Evil rears its ugly head…
in a form of fear we cannot see.
Our blessed Angels get to work,
Our Heroines and Heroes refuse to bend the knee.
A vicious war of diseased grounds and air,
one that beseeches death and despair.
But we have our winged Angels, like that from above,
Our glimmers of hope; our little white dove.
Our beacons of lights, dressed in scrubs
strew their optimism and ‘scrub, scrub, scrub.’
Our families, fathers, and Mothers of ‘bubs’,
You are our precious pearls…
Our Doctors, our Nurses, our Medical Staff…
They risk their families…lives…and all they’ve known.
Relentlessly, they tirelessly toil our path
So you…WE… have a safe world and home.
So, to you, our masked warriors, the protectors of our kind.
We appreciate your strength and your glorious minds.
It’s because of you - our guardians - we will see better days.
For now, sound the triumph of trumpets and chorus your praise.
You sparkle bright in times of need,
A covenant of ‘right’ when our whole world bleeds.
Disaster: a stark reminder of senseless greed.
In yours…OUR…time of need.
To our Teachers, we applaud you.
You’re kind hearts and your strength.
“For the good of OUR kids,” you pray.
You’ll always go the length.
To our custodians of courage;
The keepers of our kids.
To the ones who provide endless knowledge
and the eternal love you give.
We feel your pain and acknowledge your strain,
Take care, take caution, and keep that fire.
To teach, to educate is what you desire.
We feel your strain…
When Evil rears its ugly head…
in a form of fear we cannot see.
Our blessed Angels get to work,
Our Heroines and Heroes refuse to bend the knee.
Stay strong, love strong; All our minds are worn.
Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses, and Teachers:
Thanks for being the calm in the storm.
Our Frontliners.
Thankyou…
