We have successfully completed our Strong Family – Smart Choices project, with the generous support of SSI.

A heartfelt thank you to Marziyah and Faye for your time, dedication, and wonderful support in organising and delivering this meaningful activity for our Thai community. 💙

It was a great opportunity for Thai families to learn, connect, and strengthen our community together.

Bring your family along for a fun, welcoming and meaningful day with the Thai community! ❤️

👧🧒 Fun for children: Kids can enjoy games and activities that help them learn and practise Thai while making new friends.

👨‍👩‍👧 Support for families: SSI will share helpful information, advice and support to help Thai families feel more confident and connected as they settle into life in Australia.

✨ It’s a wonderful chance for children to learn, parents to discover useful support, and the whole family to connect with other Thai families.

We had a wonderful time with Thai families on 25 August at an event “Strong family Smart Choice” provided by SSI and TECV. It was a great an opportunity to connect, share, and enjoy activities together. 💝🩷❤️
If you missed this time the next our event for free will be on Wednesday the 2nd September at 1-3 pm at the same place. All welcome! ❤️🩷

The Thai Education Centre of Victoria (TECV), in partnership with SSI, is pleased to invite Thai families to a free community event on:

Join us for fun and informative activities focusing on Thai language and culture, as well as practical information about adapting to life in Australian society.

Representatives from SSI will be joining us for both sessions to provide information and answer your questions about available community services and support.

Thai Playgroup Melbourne has been successfully held for the third time!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, especially Kroo Pat and Kroo B**g for leading the group and making the program such a success.
We hope all the children and Thai mothers had a wonderful experience, made new friendships, and enjoyed learning and connecting with one another. We look forward to seeing you again at our next playgroup!💝🩷

TECV has proudly supported the Thai Mothers’ Playgroup, bringing mothers and their children together to enjoy fun and engaging activities in Melbourne.

A heartfelt thank you to Kroo Pat and Kroo Tock for volunteering your time and dedication to this wonderful program. Your support is truly appreciated.

“การพูดภาษาเดียวกัน เติบโตมาจากพื้นฐานคล้ายกัน ทำให้การพูดคุยลงลึกได้มากกว่าเวลาไปเพลย์กรุ๊ปที่มีหลายเชื้อชาติ เราก็พูดคุยกันได้แต่บทสนทนาอาจจะตื้นกว่า”

แม่ชาวไทยในนครเมลเบิร์นแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การเลี้ยงลูกในออสเตรเลียว่า แม้ระบบสาธารณสุขและบริการสังคมสำหรับครอบครัวจะช่วยแบ่งเบาภาระได้บางส่วน แต่สิ่งที่หลายคนยังโหยหาคือกลุ่มเครือข่ายของคนที่เข้าใจภาษา วัฒนธรรม และมีประสบการณ์ใกล้เคียงกัน

สำหรับหลายครอบครัวเพลย์กรุ๊ปที่มีแม่ๆ คนไทยเข้าร่วมจึงไม่ใช่เพียงพื้นที่ให้เด็กได้เล่นและเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย แต่ยังเป็นพื้นที่ที่แม่ ๆ ได้พบเพื่อน แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ และสร้างเครือข่ายสนับสนุนกันในการเลี้ยงลูกไกลบ้าน

We are now open enrollment for our Thai Language and Culture Program for Thai families with young children.

Children will learn the Thai language and culture through fun, engaging, and interactive activities. The program will run on weekends for 10 weeks in Melbourne.

If you have a child aged 2–6 years and would like to join, please scan the QR code to register.

Another significant accomplishment of TECV is providing a complimentary online seminar to the Thai community, outlining the process of becoming a teacher in Victoria, Australia and offering fundamental Thai language instruction for non-Thai speakers. We express our appreciation to Nuan Sett, the primary speaker and RMIT lecturer, as well as the experienced Thai teachers who contributed and shared their experiences.📚📙

The services to Thai community. Thai Education Centre of Victoria Inc will held the seminar the path way to be the teacher in Australia and how to teach Thai to non Thai speaking. The seninar is on the 18th September and It’s free via zoom. Anyone who interested please apply from the bar code.
