At Brightly Early Learning Tallawong, we believe that continuous improvement begins with reflective practice, teamwork, and a strong commitment to child safety. Following the completion of the foundational module, How to Be a Child Safe Organisation, provided by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian , all educators have been actively working towards bridging gaps in practice and strengthening consistency across the service, particularly in relation to active supervision. Through ongoing reflection and collaboration, we have embedded new supervision routines, implemented daily safety audits, and introduced supervision checklists to further support accountability, awareness, and responsive practice within our environments. We are proud of the way our educators continue to empower one another through professional growth, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to creating safe, secure, and nurturing environments for every child.

This week at Brightly Early Learning, our children are experiencing something truly special.
watching chicks and ducklings hatch right before their eyes! 🐣🦆✨
Through this hands-on experience, the children are learning about the life cycle of chickens and ducks, from eggs to hatching chicks and ducklings. Watching the eggs each day with excitement and hearing the first tiny chirps has been a wonderful way to encourage curiosity, empathy, and a love for nature.
Learning comes alive when children can explore, observe, and experience the world around them firsthand and the joy on their faces says it all! 💛

Mother’s Day is a special time to celebrate the love, care, and support that mums and mother figures give every single day. At Brightly Early Learning, we are grateful for the incredible families who trust us to be part of their children’s learning journey. 🌸
This week, we celebrated Mother’s Day with relaxing yoga sessions, soothing massages, and joyful dance performances where our children shared special moments dancing with their mums. From heartfelt smiles to warm hugs, the day was filled with love, connection, and happiness.
Our children also enjoyed creating beautiful crafts and participating in meaningful activities to show appreciation for the amazing mums in their lives. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories together.
To all the incredible mums and mother figures, thank you for your kindness, strength, patience, and endless support. You help shape happy hearts and bright futures every day.✨

🌺ANZAC Day at Brightly Early Learning🌺
This week at Brightly Early Learning, our children took part in meaningful and creative activities to learn about ANZAC Day and its importance.
The children made beautiful red poppy flowers, learning that poppies are a symbol of remembrance and respect.
We enjoyed baking traditional ANZAC cookies together, exploring simple cooking skills and history behind this special treat.
Through painting, colouring, and craft activities, the children expressed their understanding of remembrance, kindness, and gratitude.
Educators shared stories and had gentle conversations to help children understand the values of bravery, friendship, and helping others.
At Brightly, we believe in nurturing young minds through meaningful experiences that build respect, empathy, and community awareness.

Keeping our environment safe for every child in our care is Brightly’s paramount priority. When we talk about child safety, active supervision always come first.
Today, we proudly organised an Active Supervision Workshop for all our educators — a truly meaningful and impactful session focused on strengthening our understanding of real-life scenarios and how to respond to them with confidence, awareness, and care.
This was not just a workshop, but a powerful opportunity for our team to reflect, learn, and grow together — ensuring that every child at Brightly is supported in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment at all times.
A heartfelt thank you to Olga Weintraub from Yaga Smart for delivering such an insightful, practical, and engaging session. Your expertise and guidance have truly made a difference in empowering our educators.
At Brightly, we don’t just talk about safety — we live it, every single day. 💛

Safe Sleep Week | 9–15 March
“Know the Why. Check the S**ce. Make it Safe.”
At Brightly Early Learning, the safety and wellbeing of our children is our highest priority. Our educators follow best practice safe sleep guidelines, regularly check sleep environments, and ensure every child has a safe, calm, and comfortable space to rest.
We also encourage our families to learn more about safe sleep practices and the importance of creating safe sleep spaces for babies and young children.
Together, we can help keep every child safe while they sleep.
