📢 School Vaccination Clinic – Wednesday 17 June

Year 7 students will be receiving their first high school vaccinations on Wednesday 17 June.

📱 More information has been sent home via SchoolBytes, or you can enrol your child using the QR code or link below. Paper consent forms are also available from Miss Garner in the English staffroom.

🔄 Year 10 students who have missed previous school vaccinations will also have the opportunity to receive their catch-up vaccinations on the same day.

Please ensure consent has been provided prior to the clinic. ✅

🍽️👨‍🍳 Hospitality Catering Experience 👩‍🍳🍽️

Our Year 11 and Year 12 Hospitality students recently took part in an authentic catering experience, putting their skills into practice by planning, preparing and serving food for approximately 100 Japanese Exchange visitors at Bowral High School. 🇯🇵🤝

From menu preparation and food production to customer service and teamwork, students worked together to deliver a professional catering service while developing valuable industry-standard skills. This hands-on learning opportunity allowed students to showcase their organisation, communication and workplace safety knowledge in a real-world setting.

👏 We are incredibly proud of the dedication, professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by our Hospitality students throughout this experience. A fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of learning beyond the classroom!

📚✨ Subject Selection Night 2026 ✨📚

Bowral High School warmly invites our current Year 8 and Year 10 students, along with their parents and carers, to attend our Subject Selection Night on Wednesday 29 July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the wide range of courses available for 2027, meet faculty staff, and gain valuable information to help students make informed decisions about their future learning pathways.

🌿🌊 In Week 7, our Stage 4 Support Unit students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Killalea Regional Park, where they explored the beautiful natural environment and developed their hands-on geography skills. 🗺️☀️

As part of their Water in the World studies, students investigated local waterways and coastal environments with the support and guidance of the wonderful team from the Illawarra Environmental Education Centre. 🌏💧

It was a fantastic day of learning, discovery and connecting with the natural world! 🌿👏😊

🎶🌟 Some of our talented choir members recently had the incredible opportunity to perform at the Arts Unit In Concert Secondary Choral Festival at the iconic Sydney Opera House! 🎤✨

Over the past several months, students worked hard to learn and refine a challenging repertoire, culminating in a fantastic performance alongside talented singers from across NSW. 🎼👏

A special highlight was a guest performance by Lucy Durack, whose talent and stage presence inspired students throughout the event. 🌟🎭

A big Thankyou to Mrs Karakasch-Hawker for providing this incredible opportunity for our students. 🎼
