It's with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of the much loved former Principal of Bowral Public School, David Williams. He was such a generous, and dynamic spirit. He will be sorely missed.
Here is a a note from his daughter Megan:
For those that knew my father, David Williams (ex Principal Bowral PS) we are sad to advise of his passing at the age of 88. My dad was an excellent teacher and Principal at various schools and a great father to Tal, Jane, myself and Robin. He lived a very full and happy life and as a family we are glad we shared our life with him. He will be very much missed by friends, family and past colleagues.

Today’s students are learning about school as it was in the past. Who remembers getting the cane when they attended school?

Members of our school community will remember Dr Michael Cotter, a much loved former teacher of both Bowral Primary and Bowral High School, who sadly passed away last Friday.
Dr Cotter was a talented poet and playwright, and will be fondly remembered for his passion for the English language. Many students took part in Dr Cotter’s wonderful drama performances during his time teaching at Bowral Public School.
Dr Cotter will be greatly missed by staff, students and families. Our thoughts are with his wife Jane and family during this time. 🤍
