We share with sadness the passing of former Oxley staff member Barbara Alexander, known to many as Mrs A.
Barbara was a deeply committed member of the PDHPE team. As a teacher, leader and hockey coach, she was a guiding presence for generations of students and a valued colleague to many.
The Alexander family warmly invite Old Oxleyans to attend a service to gather and celebrate Barbara’s life. Details are shared below.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends and all those whose lives were shaped by her time at Oxley.

HONOURING SERVICE // Oxley College is proud to congratulate Founding Governor Mr Peter Bray, on his recognition in the Australia Day honours. Mr Bray was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the community of the Southern Highlands.
Oxley owes much to the unwavering commitment and visionary leadership of Mr Bray. Serving as a Founding Governor in 1983, Treasurer from 1982 – 1987, and Chair of the Board of Governors from 1988 – 1999, Mr Bray’s dedication extended beyond his tenure, culminating in his generous donation of 10 acres of land in 2020, now known as Bray Fields.
Congratulations Mr Bray on this well-deserved recognition.
