Class Four were immersed in farm life today at Winderong Farm. Through meaningful farm work, our students experienced the value of caring for the land, working together, and understanding the cycles that sustain us. They also had the opportunity to help prepare Biodynamic Preparation 500, getting their hands dirty and connecting deeply with the living world around them.
Thank you to the Winderong Farm team for sharing your knowledge and welcoming us so warmly.

We believe childhood should not be rushed.
Through long stretches of uninterrupted outdoor play, children develop the foundations for lifelong learning: creativity, resilience, independence, social awareness, and a sense of wonder.
An unhurried childhood honours the natural pace of development and recognises that some of the most important learning happens when children are simply given the time and freedom to play.

Class 3 Farming: In Steiner education, farm work holds a special significance for the nine-year-old child. At this age, children begin to experience a growing awareness of themselves as separate from the world around them. Through practical work on the land, they discover their own capacity to contribute, create, and care. The farm offers a tangible experience of interdependence, showing how human effort, animals, plants, soil, sun, and rain all work together to sustain life.
