Congratulations to our Bourke High School students who successfully completed the Automotive TAFE Statement in Start Your Future course at the Bourke Connected Learning Centre! 👏👏

Over four days, students took part in a hands-on learning journey designed to spark creativity and build practical skills. As part of the Start Your Future program, they began by dismantling a small motor and then reassembling it, while also learning soldering techniques and gaining experience using a variety of hand tools.

A huge thank you to our amazing teacher, Joe, for sharing his knowledge and expertise with our students. We look forward to welcoming you back and seeing more fantastic courses like this delivered at the Bourke CLC in the future.

Dive into SFX makeup and create visually compelling characters. Learn essential techniques for film, theatre and TV while building real, hands-on skills. Gain practical experience, expand your artistic toolkit, and develop skills that open doors in the entertainment industry.

It will also provide the competence required to work in community theatre by providing character makeup application. See photos of some of the students that completed the course last term. Looks amazing!!

Sally is building a rewarding future in community services — and you can too.
After deciding it was time for a career change, Sally discovered her passion for support work. Over the past three years, she has built a meaningful career as a support worker and is now studying at TAFE NSW to further develop her crisis-support skills and strengthen her ability to advocate for others.
If you're looking to make a difference in your community, the Certificate II in Community Services (CHC22015) can help you build the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to support people experiencing challenges in areas such as housing, mental health, disability, multicultural services, financial wellbeing, youth services, and domestic and family violence.
