A huge thank you to Baseball WA and Mark Pierson for running a fantastic Tee-ball clinic for our Kalgoorlie School of the Air students during Term 3 In-School Week! ⚾️

Opportunities like this mean so much to our families, as team sports can be tricky to practice and play at home when it’s just siblings or life on the road in a caravan. Events like these bring our kids together, build teamwork, and create lasting memories. 💛

We’d also like to acknowledge the incredible effort of both our remote families and our travelling families who made the journey into Kalgoorlie for the week – your commitment and dedication make these weeks so special.

Today is the launch of ICPA’s Rural and Remote Education Day (RRED). Wear RRED day is to acknowledge all the challenges and achievements of our students and families that educate our children out in the bush!

These kids are coming to you from Prenti Downs Cattle Station, Mt Jackson Station, Gunnadorah Station, Wondinong Station and Yarrawellor Station. Spread far and wide, Rural and Remote Education is the norm for these kids.
