Thank you to Leanne Datlen for volunteering her time in our school gardens this term. Today Leanne and some of our senior students supported our kinder/ preps and planted some potted colour 🌺 🌸

Thank you to Andrew Brazendale for supporting our students this year with the Wether Merino Challenge. This week, Andrew was demonstrating best ways to clip sheep hooves. Our students are looking forward to participating next month in the Challenge at Campbell Town. The wool growth is progressing well.

Yesterday, representatives from the Cellars Hill Wind Farm presented to some of our senior students as part of their consultation process and to capture youth voice. This was an opportunity to learn more about the project, about wind farms in general and about opportunities for the local community. It was a very informative session.

Book Week Parade Fun. What a wonderful connected community event. Thank you to the students, staff and family members for all of the creative fun. Most importantly, a celebration of the joys of books and of reading. A lovely addition this year to have the red carpet catwalk, book week theme-inspired awards and student chosen theme songs played for each class. A Symphony of Stories were heard at Bothwell DHS today. Thank you to Mrs Smith, Mr Howard, Ms J, Brigette and our judge Katie Thompson for the co-ordination and teamwork leading to a wonderful event 📚🎵 🎨 .
