My latest commission. House number for a lovely family's home in Hawksnest. They wanted to capture the beautiful surroundings including all the native wildlife and plants and the gorgeous beach. That's a lot of detail for one small house number. Itty bitty pieces, lots and lots of patience. Made with glass and ceramic. Grouting up next.

My latest mosaic project... My own front yard. I replaced a rotting old deck with fabulous crazy pavers and a garden. Here are some photos from start to finish. I love the entrance to my house now.

Happy day. That's my sculpture, Jack Jack Angel, installed at the Wollombi General Store. All ready for exhibition at Sculpture In The Vineyards. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. To be a part of an exhibition that I have always loved just makes my year. Happy happy happy.

Made using commercial ceramic tiles from Johnson and my own handmade tiles. Sculpted out of high density foam finished with a cement coating.

Beetle part 2. So now I am adding the beige grout. First i covered the beetle to protect the black grout i added in part one. Then applied the beige grout. Finally removed the masking tape to reveal the completed mosaic. Made by CW student Sarah. Grouted by me

The joy of grouting with two colours. This fabulous mosaic beetle was made by one of my students. We are using black grout for the beetle and beige grout for the background. Look out for part two...... Adding the beige.
