Seven years ago - My mini-me by my side, matching outfits, dumbbells in hand 💕
This sent me on a little trip down memory lane - Eight years of Xpress evolution 😮💨 It’s wild how much can change in eight years! In motherhood, in business, in body, in mindset. The seasons shift, priorities evolve, but some things stay the same… like the drive to grow, to learn and to move forward with purpose.
This next chapter feels a little like that… Familiar foundations, fresh energy 💫
Things are shifting (slowly as always lol) at Xpress — a re-focus, a re-align, a rebrand that reflects this season of strength, balance and connection. 🌿
And maybe… (Maybe!)… a new shoot to celebrate it all 👀💫

Well well well, look who forgot social media existed 😜
We’re still here, lifting things, solving the world’s worries, going on random side quests (hobby horse olympics anyone?!) but you know what they say, if you don’t post it, did it even happen?! 😅 So my New (financial) Year Resolution is to get some sort of proof of life (lift!) happening here!

The first round graduates of the inaugural Xpress School Holiday program! 🎓 Squinting into the sun between the beep test and the push up challenge 😝 Nailed it 😅
Not only did they all survive, they all made awesome improvements in their strength and fitness over the 6 weeks 💪🏾
I am SO proud of them all! 🥰🥹

Halfway through our holiday program already! 🤩🥳
In our cardio sessions we’re targeting
- Balance and coordination
- Increasing speed and power
- Improving vertical and broad jump distance
- Reaction times and direction changes
And of course overall stamina and endurance!
In our strength sessions we’ve learned
- Movement patterns that make up the basis of the majority of our strength exercises
- Core engagement and stability
- Staying focused on task while lifting weights
- The importance of mobility, warm ups and cool downs and how it can be incorporated into their wider sporting pursuits
- How many times one woman (me) can be asked “When can I use the leg press?” in one hour - it’s 15,673 times to be precise 😝
We’ve given boxing a crack, discovered that whoever is on the downhill always wins the tug of war and that wanting to play the cone game is code for “let’s tackle everyone to the ground” 😅
It’s been fun so far! I am sure everyone is pumped for the beep test again when we do our follow up testing later this month 😉 Stay tuned, I’m sure there’s going to be some epic improvements, they’ve all been working hard 💪🏾

Details are *finally* finalised for the inaugural Xpress Holiday Program 🙌🏻
Sick of seeing my kids spend the sporting season building up their fitness, only to see it all vanish over the 6 weeks off over Christmas, I wanted to do something to help them maintain or improve their strength and fitness over the holidays so they can return to sport in 2025 ready to dominate… but of course they won’t listen to their mum 😜 So, the Xpress Holiday Program was born 😉
An introduction to strength training, an insight into general nutrition principles, a chance to improve fitness in the pre season and keep moving over the school break, this program is designed for our pre teens and teens but is open to all ages and is scalable for all fitness levels! Message me for more info ☺️

If you’re looking for a way to get *the ones with months of holidays a year* off the screens for a few hours and give your ears a break from the squawks of “Skibidi ohio rizz” “Bro, bro, BRO” and “What the sigma?” this could be it 😜
I will be running two sessions a week over the holidays, one fitness based and one strength based, as well as a pre and post program fitness test. Sessions are scalable for all fitness levels but designed for our pre teens and teens. Adults and younger kids (with a parent or suitable assistant) are more than welcome too!
