Getting a licence is a journey, and having the right support along the way can make all the difference.

**Changing Gears** runs _Get My L’s_, a small-group, classroom-based Learner Permit preparation course designed for people with disability.

** Academy** specializes in driving lessons for people with disability, including neurodivergent learners.

Together, we cover the **whole pathway** — from learning the road rules in a way that makes sense to you, through to getting behind the wheel with an instructor who gets it.

This Tuesday, 6 October, we’re counting down to the Melbourne Disability Connection Expo 2026!

Changing Gears and Drive Smart Academy will be sharing a stall at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on Friday 16 & Saturday 17 October, 10am–4pm.

If getting your learner permit or licence has felt out of reach, whether because of autism, ADHD, anxiety, an ABI, or simply the way you learn, come and have a chat with us. 💙

There are different ways to learn, and we’re here to help you find what works for you.

Test day! 🚗💚
We're at VicRoads with our Get My L's crew from the Ringwood school holiday program. After three days of classroom prep, it's time to sit the learner permit test.
The nerves are real and so are the smiles. We're so proud of every one of them for turning up and giving it their best.
Our 4-day Get My L's program is built for NDIS participants who learn differently, and it has a 98% pass rate. If someone you support is ready to get their L's, we'd love to hear from you.
