From magical heroes to much-loved storybook characters, it was wonderful to see their creativity, excitement and love of books shine through. 🌈🎭

🐛📚 A Very Hungry Caterpillar adventure for Book Week! 🍎🦋

Today, one of our wonderful educators, Miss Aman, brought the magic of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life by dressing up as the much-loved character! 🌈✨

Our children were delighted to see their educator transformed into a favourite storybook character, creating a fun and memorable Book Week experience filled with smiles, imagination and a love of reading. 📖

At our childcare centre, we enjoy making learning exciting and meaningful — because sometimes the best way to bring a story to life is to become part of it!

Our little ones have been bringing their favourite book characters to life for Book Week, and we absolutely enjoyed our little ones dressing up as Emma Wiggle! 🎀
With her bright yellow dress and plenty of Wiggle-worthy fun, she was certainly ready to DANCE, WIGGLE and GIGGLE her way through the day! 🎶💃✨

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.
