Some of our team had the opportunity to attend the Tipiac x Riley Callie Resources First Nations Education Conference.

Guest speakers shared practical knowledge and opened up wonderful opportunities for deep reflection. Our team were especially excited to dive into the 8 Ways of Learning, spark ideas around Bush Tucker and explore how we can continue growing Bindarra as a culturally safe, welcoming space for children and families from all walks of life.

Tribe bikes for sale….
We are selling the bikes and would like everyone to share this. The Stickers can be easily removed. One bike $2500 as it currently has got a broken spoke on one of the wheels so it’s cheaper than other two which are $2950 each
These bikes are electric and come with battery, charging cord and cover. The cargo carrier can hold up to 100kg and has seatbelts. If you or anyone you know is interested please see Linda.

Climbing provides children with valuable opportunities to develop a range of physical, cognitive, and social skills. As children climb, they strengthen their gross motor skills, including balance, coordination, core strength, and spatial awareness. This type of challenging physical play encourages children to assess risks, make decisions, and build confidence in their own abilities.
Climbing experiences also support problem-solving and critical thinking as children navigate different footholds, plan their movements, and adapt to changing situations. Additionally, engaging in challenging outdoor play promotes resilience, perseverance, and a sense of achievement when goals are reached.
Within a supervised childcare environment, climbing activities can foster independence, self-confidence, and positive risk-taking, while also encouraging children to develop an appreciation for the natural outdoor environment. These experiences contribute to children's overall wellbeing and support holistic learning and development.
