📚💛 Yesterday, we were incredibly privileged to welcome Dusty to our school. 💛📚

What an inspiring young man he is! Our students loved hearing about his incredible journey, and it was wonderful to see them so engaged, eager and ask lots of questions.

A huge thank you to Dusty's mum, for helping answer some of the tougher questions and for sharing this special experience with us.

We are so proud of our little community for coming together to cheer Dusty into our school and support his amazing efforts. He is a remarkable role model, and we wish him all the very best as he continues his journey. 👏⭐

Dusty is a 12-year-old boy who is walking an incredible 540 km from Warren to Canberra to raise $1 million for Little Wings. His goal is to help fund more flights for paediatricians to support children and families in rural and remote communities.

Along the way, he is also hoping to secure a meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Dusty will be walking past our school at approximately 2:30 pm tomorrow.

A big thank you to all the dads, grandpas, and special men in our lives who joined us this morning for our Father's Day Breakfast.

It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying a bite to eat, sharing a chat, and spending some special time together before the school day began. We hope you enjoyed the morning as much as we did!

St Joseph's Cocktail Party
The wait is over! Our much-anticipated St Joseph's Cocktail Party is finally here. Join us on Friday, 18 September at the Old Pavilion for an evening of fun, great company, delicious drinks, live music, and exciting auctions.

Your ticket includes a complimentary drink on arrival and a selection of delicious nibbles served throughout the night. A bar will also be available, with drinks available for purchase throughout the evening. Enjoy live music throughout the night, and be sure to stay for our auction, commencing at 8:30pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy a wonderful night out, and help support our Joeys community through this important fundraiser.

📚🧸 Teddy Bears' Picnic - Book Week 2026 🧸📚

Today we celebrated our much-loved Teddy Bears' Picnic as part of our Book Week activities!

Despite the rainy weather, our students had a wonderful time sharing stories with their Year 5/6 buddies and their favourite teddy bears. It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the joy of reading together, creating special memories and celebrating a love of books.

A big thank you to our Year 5/6 students for being such fantastic reading buddies and helping make the day so special for our younger students.
