What a wonderful morning celebrating Book Week at Boondall State School! 💙💛

Our students and staff brought this year’s theme, Symphony of Stories, to life with some fantastic costumes and plenty of Book Week fun. 📖🎶

A very special thank you to Mrs Verrall for organising such a wonderful celebration, and to our special guest Mrs Betts for joining us for the morning. 💛

💙💛 FATHER’S DAY STALL – NEXT WEEK! 💛💙

Our Father’s Day Stall is coming up on Thursday 3 September, and we’d love a little help from our wonderful Boondall community! 🎁

We’re currently welcoming donations of packaged lollies/chocolates, books and new or good-condition gifts to add to the stall. Donations can be dropped to the School Office, Rise Cafe/Tuckshop or Uniform Shop.

🙌 Got a little time to spare on the day?
Come along to the Hall anytime from 8:30am — whether you can help for 30 minutes or a few hours, every extra pair of hands makes a difference!

We had an incredible morning welcoming KIIS 97.3FM to Boondall State School for a LIVE broadcast with Robin, Kip & Corey Oates!
A huge thank you everyone who helped make the morning possible, and of course to all our students, families and staff who came along and made it such a fantastic school community event.

📻 KIIS 97.3FM IS COMING TO BOONDALL STATE SCHOOL! 🌭🎉

The countdown is on! This Thursday 20 August, KIIS 973 will be broadcasting LIVE from our Mini Oval, with our school community invited to join the fun from 7:30am to 8:30am.

There’ll be 500 FREE Dagwood Dogs for students/children, games, showbags to win and opportunities for staff and parents to chat with KIIS 973 on air!

⭐ And making his grand return… ASTRO will be back! Keep an eye out for our favourite star joining in the morning’s fun.

A few important things to know:
⭐ Families can join us from 7:30am
⭐ Parents/carers are responsible for supervising their children until 8:15am
⭐ Dagwood Dogs are for students/children only and will be distributed via a ticket system. Please note they contain meat, usually pork.

To show our appreciation for all the time, effort and heart you give to our school community, The Y is hosting a Volunteer BBQ this Thursday afternoon.

All Boondall State School and P&C volunteers are warmly invited to come along, enjoy some food and spend time together.
