📚✨ What a wonderful Book Week we have had! ✨📚

All but one of our Seven Dwarfs have been found, with some very excited children claiming their Book Week prizes! 🎉📖

But there’s still one dwarf hiding out there… Sleepy is yet to be handed in! 👀 So keep your eyes peeled when visiting our local businesses—you never know where Sleepy might be hiding, and you could be the lucky finder who wins a book! 📚🏆

We finished the week with our Book Week Parade, and what a spectacular turnout it was! The incredible costumes, creativity and enthusiasm from our students made it such a wonderful way to celebrate our love of reading. ❤️📚

Our Prep and Year 3/4 students had a fantastic day stepping back in time during their excursion to the Templin Historical Village.

Students enjoyed exploring local history, discovering what life was like in years gone by, and learning through a range of fascinating displays and hands-on experiences.

A big thank you to the wonderful volunteers at Templin Historical Museum for sharing their knowledge and making the day so engaging and memorable for our students. 🏫📚✨

There’s so much learning happening through play! 💛✨

From creating with Play-Doh, building strategies and friendships through UNO, to exploring imagination and storytelling with our doll houses, play provides students with opportunities to create, communicate, problem-solve and develop confidence.

At Boonah State School, we value the importance of play and are proud to offer our students a variety of engaging ways to learn, explore and have fun! 🎲🏠🎨

This morning, our school was delighted to welcome the Historical Motorcycle Club for a special visit. Students had a fantastic time exploring an incredible collection of motorcycles built between 1901 and 1918, learning about their history and craftsmanship.

A huge thank you to all the parents who generously donated baked goods for our morning tea, and to our amazing P&C for their help in making the morning such a success. Your support is greatly appreciated!
