Congratulations to Garrett on being chosen as Aussie of the Month for August. Garrett has demonstrated positive behaviours and a great work ethic. Congratulations to Ty on being named Student of the Week this week. Ty is consistently demonstrating strong work habits, a desire to learn and to be challenged. Congratulations to Lochlan who has demonstrated a positive approach to assessments, reading questions thoughtfully and thinking his answers through. Well done boys!

What an awesome day Bonshaw Public School and Yetman Public School have had today. Our students have engaged in science lessons with Matt and Mr Reeves. The pictures tell the story. Whilst they were having fun the teaching staff were undertaking another valuable day of professional learning.

Congratulations to Garrett for being chosen as Student of the Week for week 5. Garrett is trying hard in all areas of his work and is enjoying reading where he he is making great progress. Congratulations to Joe on his impressive improvement in writing. Congratulations to Ty who is consistently working hard and presenting neat bookwork every day. Well done boys!

Our boys tried some ballet this week with Miss Laura Craze Dance Academy. They loved it. Well done boys for trying something new.

Our Book Parade was a wonderful celebration of books, imagination and creativity! 📚✨ Our students and preschoolers proudly dressed up as their favourite book characters and brought their favourite stories to life. It was fantastic to see so many creative costumes and share our love of reading together!

Congratulations Nate on being named Student of the Week for week 4. Nate has displayed a consistent and strong work ethic in all areas. Congratulations to Ty on his merit award for always working well in all areas. Congratulations to Blaze and Luca for their wonderful effort and attempt in their first Public Speaking event.

Yesterday Yetman Public School travelled to Bonshaw Public School for our inter school public speaking competition. Congratulations to all students on their presentations! Thank you Yetman for joining us.

Choosing Student of the Week for week 3 was a very difficult task. So for the first time we have two students sharing this award. Congratulations to Lochlan and Ty on being named joint Students of the Week. Well done! Congratulations to Luca on his fantastic work in maths.

A huge thank you to all our Grandparent's for joining us today to celebrate Grandparents Day and 100 Days of School. Our boys did an awesome job showing off their dance skills with a Hip Hop dance thank you Miss Laura Craze Dance Academy and then another little item for 100 days with Old Time Rock and Roll. Mr Reeves also showing his dance moves. We have had a fabulous day celebrating and everyone enjoyed a beautiful morning tea together. Our students then enjoyed some more hands on science lessons.

We are looking forward to seeing all our students dressed as if they are 100 years old tomorrow as we celebrate 100 days of school! We are also looking forward to having all our Grandparent's join us for Grandparents Day! We will all enjoy lots of fun activities and a lovely picnic box for morning tea.
