Science Week!

Biology, chemistry, and… Lego? Our Photo of the Week belongs to Science Week at Neville Bonner Primary School! 🧪

Students spent the whole week learning about the universe around them and how it works. During Science Week, all activities became hands-on learning experiences, meaning kids got to closely inspect the crystals they grew in class and get their hands dirty planting seeds for the house plants they’re growing.

As an extra challenge, students were tasked with creating STEM themed Lego designs at home which were displayed in the library as a Science Week exhibition for everyone to see.

What a fun way to help these students grow their curiosity!

Canteen menu and price list for Term 3. We are so lucky to have a fully operating canteen at Neville Bonner.

There has been a slight increase to our menu items this term to reflect our increasing costs. We have kept this as low as possible to minimise the impact on families.

Our Year 5 students are currently at Birrigai. A great first day yesterday and currently they are getting up ready to start a second day of fun activities. They are due back at 3pm today.

Today we started the beginning of our NAIDOC celebrations - 50 years of being deadly with a smoking ceremony performed by Richie Allan.
