🎵 Marrickville, should we do Mondays?

Our Friday morning toddler class in Marrickville is up and running for Term 4, and enough families have asked about a second day that we're looking at adding one.

Monday 9:30am, toddlers 1 to 2.5 years.

It's not confirmed yet, it all depends on how many families are keen. There's nothing to pay and no commitment, we just want to see if the interest is there.

To join the waitlist:

- Log in, or register a new profile if you're new to us
- Search Marrickville and add your little one to the Monday 9:30am waitlist

We'll be in touch as soon as we have the numbers to go ahead. And if Fridays work for you, that class is confirmed and running now, so grab a spot while there's room.

We're now in Marrickville!

Big news, Einsteinz Music has landed in the heart of Marrickville!

We're kicking off with one class on Fridays at 9:30am, starting Friday 16 October. It's a toddler class (1–2.5 years), but all ages are welcome for now, so bring your baby, toddler or preschooler along.

Our classes are play-based and full of singing, dancing, instruments and a whole lot of fun, with plenty of connection time for you and your little one.

We're right in the middle of Marrickville with onsite parking available, so no circling the block with a toddler in the back.

If there's enough interest we'll be adding more classes soon, so let us know what days and times would suit you.

Meet the Kundu drum! 🥁
This hourglass-shaped drum comes from Papua New Guinea. It's carved from a single piece of wood and played at celebrations and ceremonies. It's even on PNG's national emblem. Our little musicians loved finding out how it's held and played. Bringing in instruments from around the world is one of our favourite ways to spark curiosity and big listening ears. 🎶

One of our preschoolers in our after school music program made this and we're a bit obsessed. Every colour in the box, and a guitar that looks very pleased with itself.

We'd spent the session learning about the guitar, the strings, the body, the sound hole, the way it makes a noise when you strum it. So when the music finished, out came the pencils. It's a lovely way to end a class. The kids get to sit with what they've just learned, and there's a bit of letter tracing and pencil work in there too.

Not bad for a Tuesday afternoon.

When the birthday boy is having such a good time that the party gets an encore. 🎶

We rocked out at a birthday last week and got asked to stay on longer — which we're taking as the highest compliment a room full of kids can give.

Special mention to Melody, our newest recruit, who jumped straight in and had everyone singing, shaking and dancing along like she'd been doing it for years. Look at that face. That's a party done right.

Big guitar, little ukuleles, and one very excited class. 🎸✨ When children start bringing their own instruments, you know they've caught the bug. They don't just come to music class, they belong to it.

It means the music has found its way home, into lounge rooms, onto laps, into tiny hands that can't wait to play along. Because what we're really teaching isn't just notes. It's a lifelong love of making music, and the confidence, joy and rhythm they'll carry for life. 💙

Watching them find their place in the circle is the best part of our week.

🎻🕷️ Incy Wincy Spider has never sounded so magical!

One of the things that makes Einsteinz Music classes so special is that our children experience live music every single week. This week, Cameron brought Incy Wincy Spider to life on the violin, and the children's faces said it all. ✨

Every one of our teachers is a talented professional musician, bringing their own unique instrument and musical style into the classroom. Throughout the term, children are exposed to a wonderful variety of sounds—from violin and saxophone to banjo, trombone, piano and more.
It's so much more than singing nursery rhymes. Live music captures children's attention, sparks curiosity, develops listening skills, and creates magical moments that simply can't be replicated with a speaker.
Watching little ones stop, listen, move and connect with real musicians is one of our favourite parts of every class. ❤️

Meet Cameron 🎸🎻

Cameron is a classically trained violinist, pianist and guitarist with a lifelong passion for sharing the joy of music. After completing a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he performed with orchestras across Sydney before completing a Master of Creative Music Therapy at Western Sydney University.

Throughout his career, Cameron has worked with children of all ages and abilities, leading both individual and group music sessions in schools and private clinical settings. He believes music is a powerful way to build confidence, encourage creativity and help children connect with those around them.

Alongside teaching at Einsteinz Music, Cameron continues to teach violin privately and performs as a fiddle player in a country rock band around Sydney's Inner West. Children in Cameron's classes love being introduced to the beautiful sound of the violin and experiencing live music played by a professional musician.

When he's not making music, Cameron enjoys travelling, attending live concerts, following American sports, and spending time plane spotting near Sydney Airport.

"Music has an incredible ability to bring people together. At Einsteinz Music, children not only develop important musical skills, but also build confidence, friendships and a lifelong appreciation of music through fun, shared experiences."
