Meet Matt 🎸

Growing up in a musical household, Matt’s love for music began early. After experimenting with several instruments, he found his groove on the guitar and went on to perform in bands throughout school, earning an Encore nomination for his HSC Music repertoire.

Matt has since taught music across Sydney as a private tutor and instrumental teacher, works as a guitarist and bassist educator, and continues to perform and compose across theatre, film, podcasts and live music projects. Alongside teaching, he plays in the band Finding Better Health and remains deeply involved in the creative arts.

Inspired by the powerful role music has played in his own life, Matt is passionate about nurturing a love of music in children and is thrilled to be part of the Einsteinz Music team.

🎵 Weekday mornings, term-time only
🎵 1–9 hrs per week
🎵 Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Oatley & Neutral Bay
🎵 Musical kit & instruments provided, just BYO guitar or ukulele
🎵 Must have a car for transporting kit
🎵 $45–$64/hr + super

A New Chapter for Einsteinz Music

After 21 wonderful years at the helm, it's time for me to say a bittersweet farewell to my “third baby”, Einsteinz Music. Raising this company alongside my own children has been a true privilege. It gave me the freedom to be a hands-on mother while doing something I am so incredibly passionate about, and for that, I will always be grateful.

I'm so proud of the program the teachers and I have built over the past two decades. A huge thank you to our incredible teachers for all their hard work and for making music so much fun for our students. To all the wonderful parents, grandparents, and carers, thank you for trusting us and sharing our magical program with your little ones. Your support has been the heartbeat of our program and means the world to me.

I am confident that Einsteinz Music will continue to flourish and spread creativity and joy, and that under new owner Jeanette’s leadership, the music will play on!
