All the way from Amsterdam for a much needed tweak pointe shoe fitting

When your working with 9 brands of pointe shoes dancers can’t resist seeing what they are missing.

When booking a pointe shoe fitting always check how many brands a retailer works with as the more they work with the bigger the chance you have to walk away with a shoe that’s going to work.

However please be transparent if you’re coming just to try shoes and walk away with the specks to give to your company, as our time is valuable and it’s truely not nice after 1.5 hour fitting to advise us that we are just here for your expertise and no intention to purchase . We don’t charge a fitting fee like most stores overseas but it is really back breaking work to be insulted in the end to be told we love the shoes but we have no intention to purchase as our company will purchase locally . It’s not an art to be taken for granted for just like you dancers don’t like dancing for free.

In this case this beautiful dancer walked away with 2 pairs of beautiful however my next fitting wasn’t so thankful.
