Easter weekend with a little one doesn’t have to mean big plans or lots of chocolate 🐣

Sometimes the simplest activities become the most magical moments.
A song together, a bubble floating past, or the excitement of finding a hidden egg.

These little moments of play are doing more than entertaining your child. They’re building language, curiosity, confidence and connection 💛

If you’re looking for a few easy ideas for the long weekend, swipe through for some simple Easter play inspiration you can do at home.

Save this for the weekend!

Parents… we all know what happens at Easter.
There is SO much chocolate 😅🍫

If your little one is already getting plenty, here are some fun alternatives family can gift instead:

🥚Nesting eggs
🐰 Easter books
🫧 Bubbles
🎨 Chalk
🛁 Bath toys
✂️ Craft kits
👕 Easter PJs
🍓 Fruit treats
🎟 Experience vouchers (zoo trip, playdate, ice cream)

Or why not create an Easter treasure basket? Fill up a basket with easter themed stuff and let bub explore!

Sometimes the best gifts aren’t eaten in 5 minutes… they create memories instead.

💛 Tag or send this to the grandparents before they go Easter shopping.

Crawling isn’t a race and it doesn’t look the same for every baby.

Some crawl, some shuffle, some roll, some skip it completely.

Focus on strength, connection and floor play! The movement will come. 💛

Big feelings can make you question everything.

“Am I too soft?”
“Am I too strict?”
“Why is it so intense?”

But toddler meltdowns aren’t a sign you’re failing.
They’re a sign your child’s brain is still developing.

Impulse control.
Emotional regulation.
Turn-taking.
Waiting.

These are learned skills and they take repetition, modelling and safe practice.
That’s why weekly group environments matter.

At Toddler Sense, toddlers practise managing big feelings in a structured, supportive setting where they can learn, try again and build confidence over time.
You don’t have to navigate this alone 💙

Join us in class this week and start building those skills together.

Hopping on one foot looks simple… but it’s actually a complex milestone.
Before a child can hop, they need:

💛 Strong legs
💛 Core control
💛 Single-leg balance
💛 Coordination
💛 The ability to shift weight confidently

Most children master hopping between 3–4 years and balance comes first.

So if your toddler isn’t hopping yet, build it through playful balance games and mini bounces.

Movement skills don’t need pressure.
They need repetition, confidence and fun. 💛
