All Families are welcome to join the Holy Cross community this Friday morning for a special Open Morning combined with our Community Playgroup.
This is a lovely opportunity for families with young children to visit the school, meet our community, and enjoy a relaxed morning of play together. While parents explore and chat with staff, children can enjoy play-based activities.
This week our playgroup will be exploring a fun Autumn theme with simple crafts, sensory play and activities for little ones. π

πΏ Wisdom & Wonder β The JNC πΏ
Today we wrapped up our final intergenerational session for the year with our wonderful Wisdom & Wonder friends. We spent the morning painting pots for our garden plots and finishing off with some festive card-making.
A special highlight was our graduating preschool children performing their graduation song, proudly sharing this milestone with our visiting friends, who loved every moment.
Thank you to our Wisdom & Wonder group for an opportunity for connection, stories, learning, and smiles. We canβt wait to welcome you back in the new year for more shared experiences in the garden and beyond.

Hi Families!
As we dive into Reconciliation Week this week, I wanted to suggest a wonderful alternative to your usual TV viewing for the little ones. Instead of watching Bluey (which we all love, of course), why not give "Little J and Big Cuz" a try?
"Little J and Big Cuz" is an engaging and heart-warming animated series that revolves around the lives of two Indigenous Australian kids. Little J is five years old, and Big Cuz is nine. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of childhood while living with their Nanna and Old Dog.
This show is not only entertaining but also provides a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about Indigenous culture. It beautifully showcases the experiences, traditions, and stories of Indigenous Australians.
By tuning in to "Little J and Big Cuz" during Reconciliation Week, you'll be supporting Indigenous representation and providing your children with a meaningful and inclusive experience.
So, grab some popcorn, snuggle up on the couch, and embark on a delightful adventure with Little J, Big Cuz, and their lovable family. Let's celebrate and honor Reconciliation Week together by embracing the spirit of diversity and fostering a deeper understanding of our Indigenous cultures.
Little J And Big Cuz
Little J, he's five and Big Cuz, she's nine. They're a couple of Indigenous Australian kids living with their Nanna and Old Dog. Little J and Big Cuz are busy, whether it's at school, in the backyard... or beyond.
