A huge congratulations to Hallie, Lucas, Charlotte & Philmar on an amazing effort at Zone Athletics last Friday! 💙💛
They gave it their all and came away with an awesome 5th place in the relay! 🏅. Hallie threw a PB of 5.18m in shot put. 👏

A huge thank you to Elena and Nicholas from Mobile Dental Care Australia. Students from our school, Jumbunna pre-school and Old Bonalbo school were lucky enough to have check ups and treatments onsite here at BCS last week. What an awesome service this is for our area. We look forward to them visiting again next year.

On Thursday, Guy from ETC, came to talk to stage 5 and stage 6 students about the processes involved in starting up a business and how to access support to ensure your business is a success

As our science week activities continued, Stage 4, 5 and 6 Science students joined forces to take on a science escape room! Students worked together to solve science themed puzzles, crack codes and tackle challenges using their scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Our hair and beauty students have been busy developing their practical skills. This week, students have been practising volume blowdries, learning how to use brushes, section the hair and control the dryer to create smoothness, movement and volume.

As part of our science week fun, Stage five students got hands-on with their materials and chemistry unit by using marshmallows and lollies to build models of different chemical structures. A fun and tasty way to explore how atoms are arranged and bonded together to form different substances.
