🎭 NAC STUDENTS TAKE THE STAGE! 🎭

We’re incredibly proud to see so many Nowra Anglican College students involved in Albatross Musical Theatre Company’s Alice in Wonderland, through their JAM – Junior Albatross Musicals program.

Seeing so many familiar NAC faces involved in local theatre is a wonderful reflection of the connections between our College and the wider community.

The arts have an incredible way of bringing people together – building friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging that extends well beyond the school gates.

We’re proud to see so many of our students sharing their talents, supporting one another and being part of our local creative community. To every NAC student involved, we hope you enjoy every moment! ❤️🎭

Wishing our equestrians all the best as they proudly represent Nowra Anglican College at the Interschools Equestrian event in Berry this long weekend!

Across the three-day competition, the girls will compete in a range of equestrian events, including Showing, Jumping, Sporting, Dressage and Cross Country.

We’re incredibly proud to congratulate Megan J, on receiving a SHAPE nomination for her HSC Design and Technology Major Project! 🎉

Her clever and thoughtful project reimagines sensory jewellery for adults, creating stylish and discreet pieces that provide sensory support without the child-focused look often associated with sensory products.

SHAPE celebrates outstanding HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design projects from across NSW.

👏 An amazing achievement, and a wonderful reflection of her creativity and the guidance and support of our dedicated TAS teachers!

In the Mt Keira Rainforest, our Year 11 Biology students recently explored the interplay between biotic and abiotic factors, conducting vegetation abundance surveys using quadrat sampling while measuring key environmental parameters such as soil pH, light availability, and topographic relief. The afternoon was spent examining undergrowth invertebrate fauna, where students observed scorpions, spiders, and the fascinating symbiotic wasps responsible for pollinating fig trees. It was a fantastic way to conclude the Year 11 Biology course and bring classroom theory to life in the field.

As our Year 6 students begin to think about High School, every House group attends a special lunch with our Principal, Mrs Jodie Bennett and their Year Coordinators for Year 7, Mrs Mason and Ms Miazga. It is a chance to ask questions about next year, express any worries or fears and enjoy some yummy food together as they approach the end of their Junior School journey. We're so proud of this cohort and know they will be welcoming, friendly faces for the many students joining Nowra Anglican College for Year 7 in 2027.

Who came THIRD in the country raising money for Jump Rope for Heart? We did!
We are so proud of our students’ efforts to raise money for the Heart Foundation. They skipped for 198 hours, which is 8 days and 6 hours!
We aimed to raise $10,000 and ended up raising more than $22,000, while having fun, learning about persistence and resilience and improving their heart health along the way. Thanks WIN News Illawarra for featuring us!
