Bomaderry Community Preschool Bomaderry Community Preschool is a community based centre offering a quality early childhood prescho

At Bomaderry Community Pre-school we acknowledge the unique and important phase of life that is Early Childhood. The early years are particularly significant as it lays the foundation for all future learning, and sense of belonging. Rather than hurrying children through this stage we seek to provide children with the opportunity and time to ‘be’ children, and to develop a love of learning in the present, rather than viewing early childhood as a time purely dedicated to preparing for the future. It is important that children feel that they are capable, competent and valued within the context of their family, our preschool and the community. We are open during school terms Monday to Friday 9:00 - 3:00pm. Extended care is available from 8:00 – 9:00am & 3:00 – 4:00pm for an additional cost.

We were delighted to welcome back former Bomaderry Community Preschool Students.

This cohort started their journey here in 2013 and have continued on at Nowra Anglican College. This year they are the graduating class of 2026.

Nikki, Heather, Bernice, Mon and Margy were all their teachers back then and were very excited to see them. It was a very nostalgic moment.

The current preschool children were excited to meet them and didn’t quite understand this could be them one day.

On behalf of the BCPS team, we wish all the Year 12 students the best of luck for their HSC exams and their future.

Today, we celebrated R U OK? Day! It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the significance of checking in with our friends and loved ones, not just today but every day. We took the time to emphasise the importance of kindness, compassion, and being there for one another during tough times.

Our celebration was filled with engaging conversations, beautiful artwork, and the warmth of being on Country. We even added a little touch of yellow, a colour that symbolises hope and positivity!

Let’s keep fostering connections and showing support for those around us. Remember, a simple check-in can make a world of difference. Let’s keep spreading kindness and understanding, not just today but every day!

At Bomaderry Community Preschool we recognising the importance of every child’s right — to play, to learn, to feel safe, and to be heard.

Every day, we see the amazing ways our children express themselves, connect with others, and grow in confidence. Children’s Week is a special reminder of how precious these early years are and how together — families and educators — we can make sure every child feels valued and supported.

This year's theme for children's week is: "EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT CHILDREN'S RIGHTS'
Children’s Week is a national celebration of children’s rights, held each year across Australia around the fourth Wednesday in October. It highlights the rights of children to thrive, learn, play and be heard, as set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
