📣 Preschool Graduation Reminder – Wednesday 26th November! 🎓✨
We are so excited to celebrate our Preschool Graduating Class next Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 as the children complete their ECEC journey and get ready for their primary education adventures! 🌟
Families of graduating children – please make sure you have checked:
- Your emails or
- Your child’s information pockets in the centre or
- Signage at the centre entry points
As all graduation details have been shared through these channels.
Important Information About Photos & Device Use: This will be our first graduation since the updated digital-use legislation was introduced in September this year. As part of these new rules, we must follow strict guidelines to keep all children safe. While these expectations are also part of our daily requirements for child safety, with many additional guest attending the event a refresher for families Is recomded.
Please note: No use of mobile phones or cameras is permitted in the children’s learning environment.
This includes:
• Taking photos or videos
• Answering calls or messages
• Scrolling, texting
• Showing images on your phone to staff or children or other families
If your phone receives a call or notification, or you wish to share images on your devices with others, please step into the front foyer before using it.
Photo Opportunities
A dedicated photo area will be set up in the front foyer for families who wish to take images on their own devices with their children.
Families may also request staff to take photos during the event. These will be taken on centre isued devices only and shared with families via email after the celebration.
Group Photos
Group photos of the graduating class will be shared through a end-of-year programming email. Only children with parent consent to appear in group program observations will be included in these images.
These expectations form part of the Code of Conduct all families have signed, and as per this document Friendly reminders will be offered on the one off ocasions as needed. However, repeated, ignored, or disrespectful responses must be taken seriously, as these guidelines are a legal requirement for all ECEC services, with our staff simply following their responsibility as ECEC educators through required child safety messures.
