This Sunday, at Bolton Point Community Hall, the Breakthrough T1 Diabetes foundation is hosting a walk and family fun day to raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes.

Last year one of our little friends, Willow, found out she was living with the condition and has been so brave in her journey so far.

If you would like to come along or make a donation, Willow and her family would be so thankful.

Book Week Reminder!
(Monday 18th August - Friday 22nd August)

We’re so excited to celebrate Book Week with all our children and families!

This fun-filled week continues to encourage a love of reading, as literacy is a key foundation for lifelong learning and education.

Dress-up is welcome!
Children are invited to dress up as their favourite book characters if they would like to – no pressure, just fun!

Book Swap Station – Celebrating Book Week!

Welcome to our Book Swap Station!
As part of our Book Week celebrations, we’re encouraging families to join us in a sustainable, budget-friendly way to share the love of reading.

Families are invited to bring in gently used children’s books and exchange them for new stories to enjoy at home. This promotes the value of reusing resources and supports a sense of community through shared learning and storytelling.

You will find our Book Swap Station in the front foyer.
Feel free to browse, take a book, or leave a book!

Linked to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF):
Outcome 1 – Children have a strong sense of identity: Through shared experiences like this, children feel a sense of belonging and community.
Outcome 5 – Children are effective communicators: Engaging with books helps children develop language, literacy, and a lifelong love of storytelling.
Sustainability – Embeds environmentally responsible practices in everyday experiences.

Thank you for supporting our Book Swap and helping to build a community of readers!
