Welcome Snr Constable Ben!

Thank you to Elodie from Narrabri Shire Council for reaching out and organising a visit from Snr Constable Ben as part of Crime Prevention Week.
Students made the best of having a policeman all to themselves and asked some very interesting questions. And they got some very interesting answers!

Artists in residence at Fairfax!

This week all our students received their certificates and prizes from the Currabubula Small Schools Art Show. All students challenged themselves this year with an abstract artwork.
Congratulations to all our students on their fantastic achievement.
Special mention to Ezra on winning 1st place in the Stage 1 Abstract section.

Dare to debate?

Last week Anna had the opportunity to attend a debating workshop run by the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit in preparation for upcoming debates. Anna had lots of fun and is impressed with her improvement from last year. Fairfax has partnered with Bellata PS again this year in a debating team.

Performing at PULSE!
Fairfax students have enjoyed the world of performing arts at PULSE Alive 2026 in Moree this week.
Three days of rehearsals culminated in a wonderful performance this afternoon.
From nothing to a polished performance was pretty impressive!
Congratulations to Fairfax students and all other students from local NSW DoE schools.

PULSE ALIVE Moree 2026!

Our K-2 students have wrapped up an amazing performing arts experience at PULSE Alive in Moree this week.
Two days of workshops culminating in a performance of dance, drumming and visual arts was thoroughly enjoyed.
