Every Friday morning the children have been engaging with Birdie’s Tree.
A Queensland Government – Children’s Health Queensland initiative, Birdie’s Tree is an award-winning set of storybooks, videos and resources.
Birdie’s Tree was created to help children and families going through natural disasters and disruptive events. The main characters in these series of books are Birdie and Mr Frog; they help children learn about different natural disasters and find out how to cope and recover from these events, whilst engaging in fun activities and dialogue.
A huge thank you to Sonia for joining us each week to deliver this program.
