There are moments that remind us what our physie community is truly about.
Today is one of those moments.
This is our beautiful Beachside Mermaid, Mila.
Instead of spending her days simply enjoying childhood, 10 year old Mila is courageously fighting brain cancer. It’s a journey no child should ever have to face, yet she continues to show a strength and bravery that inspires everyone around her.
Amid hospital visits, radiation treatments and unimaginable challenges, there is one place that continues to bring a smile to Mila’s face… physie. 👯♀️
Physie is more than routines, competitions and medals. It’s where friendships are formed, confidence grows and children find a place where they belong. For Mila, it’s her happy place. A place that reminds her she is so much more than her diagnosis.
Today, we’re reaching out to every physie family, every teacher, every club and every association across our country.
It doesn’t matter what colours you wear or whose banner you dance under. Today, we wear Mila’s colours. 💚💜💚
We’re asking you to help us wrap this beautiful family in the love, kindness and support that makes our physie community so special.
Mila’s school community has created a GoFundMe page to help ease some of the financial burden her family is carrying while they focus on what matters most, being by Mila’s side.
